We take pre-loved and new item donations for babies and children up to age 12, and redistribute them to families facing financial hardship via various existing family services in Brighton & Hove
What does the opportunity involve doing?
Would you like to help families in need?
We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteer drivers to deliver parcels, equipment and goods to families in the Brighton & Hove area, in partnership with Brighton & Hove Council Family Hubs and local charity Pelican Parcels.
What induction, training and support is offered?
What the role offers:
-Full mileage paid
-Training including manual handling & Safeguarding
-Regular supervision and support
-The chance to help make local families' day!
What skills or qualities are needed?
You will need:
-Your own vehicle
-A full and valid drivers licence
-To be physically comfortable handling deliveries
