A rewarding project supporting households facing food insecurity, making the most out of food and saving it from being wasted. Based in Lewes, we provide vital food support, signposting to other support services, and a welcoming café and social space to people in crisis. With the rising cost of living, including food and energy prices, our work is more important than ever.
What does the opportunity involve doing?
Join our team of amazing cookery leaders. Vounteer your time once or twice a month (or more regularly if you like) helping to turn surplus food in to delicious meals for members of our Community Cafe and Food Project. A bonus if you have an interest in fermenting, pickling, preserving food.
