Volunteer Community Services Driver at The Sussex Beacon

What we do
The Sussex Beacon provides specialist care and support for people living with HIV, helping to promote independence and improve health and wellbeing.

Our services are delivered from our centre in Brighton, where we offer therapy rooms, spaces for group work, and a beautifully landscaped garden for everyone to enjoy year-round. We’re dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment.

How we do it
We collaborate closely with other healthcare providers, as well as with the people we support, to ensure our services meet the evolving needs of those living with HIV. Some of our services can be accessed through self-referral, making them accessible to a wider community.

Our work is made possible through funding from statutory bodies and a variety of fundraising efforts, including grants, events, and proceeds from our charity shops. Every contribution helps us continue providing essential care and support to people living with HIV.
