Every week, we help almost half a million people aged 4-25 develop skills for life through The Scout Association. 6th Brighton Scouts is a very active section - supporting over 50 young people weekly.
What does the opportunity involve doing?
6th Brighton Scouts are looking for volunteer trustees, Chair and Secretary
You’ll gain skills in
• Governance
• Decision making
• Risk management
Trustees provide administrative support, strategic direction, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and duties set out by The Scout Association.

What induction, training and support is offered?
Full training provided - online by The Scout Association and locally by the Section
What skills or qualities are needed?
We are looking for people with experience in:
- Governance
- Strategy & Planning

No prior experience in The Scout Association or scouting is required
