Treasurer/fundraiser at SPIN (Single Parent Information Network))

What does the opportunity involve doing?

We are in need of someone to manage the accounts and report at committee meetings. We are hoping to develop our accounts into Full Cost Recovery model to satisfy larger funding bodies. We utilise various software so need someone comfortable with utilising our existing accounts and transferring them into a different platform to allow us to monitor our expenditure for different projects and activities.

We are ideally hoping to find someone willing to help with fundraising applications either supporting the Director in this or applying independently from our database of funders.

We are trying to diversify our income so would welcome someone who is also keen to promote in this area too.

What induction, training and support is offered?

We are looking for someone who already has skills using excel but happy to learn a new software system at some point using the FCR model and we can download software to do this.

We will introduce you to our database system and our virtual office system.

Our office is disability friendly and we have a space with free tea coffee fruit and biscuits.
we reimburse travel expenses. We reimburse lunch if at the office for full day.

Numerate
careful and very accurate, checking their work thoroughly
systematic
reliable
good timekeeping when attending meeting at our office in central Brighton currently a Friday
happy to meet with other committee members to discuss our finances including income obtained.

There will be a DBS check undertaken and references needed.
