School Volunteer Counsellor at Shoreham Academy

What does the opportunity involve doing?

We are looking for post qualified counsellors who wish to gain experience working with 11-18 year olds in a school setting. You will be BACP registered or equivalent and have a minimum Level 4 qualification. Our expectation is that you will see up to 3 clients a week for a minimum of a year.

What induction, training and support is offered?

Shoreham Academy offers an induction volunteer package, DBS check, as well as fortnightly supervision with a qualified supervisor. Training opportunities are also available.

What skills or qualities are needed?

We are looking for professional, qualified counsellors (I am unable to accept unqualified counsellors at this time).
