Working with our partners, we plan & deliver livelihood projects in some of the poorest villages in rural India, particularly benefiting low-caste & tribal people & especially women. Currently we are also working to address the impact of climate change on rural India through the use of new technology.

What does the opportunity involve doing?
Brighton based but focused on India. We are looking for help to develop our research and communications also helping to organise online and other events. There are opportunities to undertake research, building links with new partners in India and providing general organisational support. Currently we have a new focus on developing our knowledge base around Smart Farms and Smart Villages in rural India.
What induction, training and support is offered?
General induction programme offered.
What skills or qualities are needed?
Broad range of organisational skills, IT, events planning and research skills would be an advantage. Interest in international development, the impact of climate change and use of new technologies would be helpful. Working as part of a team helping to organise events.
