Somerset Day Centre is a stand alone charity offering day services for people aged 50 and over . The Day Centre is open 4 days a week, Mon - Thurs. We provide a nutritious lunch social interaction, a wide range of activities, trips out, exercises such as Pilates, Tai Chi and entertainment along with daily exercises. We provide a happy, fun environment that our members enjoy coming to.
What does the opportunity involve doing?
Checking and tending to potted plants general tidying in the garden.
What induction, training and support is offered?
All appropriate training is offered.
What skills or qualities are needed?
A friendly and welcoming personality is most desirable. An affinity for working with older people. Experience or the desire to work as part of a team, with good communication.
