Lovebrook is a for-benefit organisation based across thirty three acres in the beautiful South Downs village of Kingston. This ambitious project includes regenerative farm and market garden, food forest, therapeutic community wellbeing days, trainee farmers course, farm shop, camping and a programme of rewilding, ponds and tree planting.
Saturdays are a lively day of the week here, with our farm shop and cafe open to the public, along with wood fired sauna sessions, yoga classes, guest speakers, activities and more. It's a great day to get involved, volunteer for a couple of hours and meet new friends whilst enjoying the countryside and nature connection.
What does the opportunity involve doing?
Would you like to join the Saturday team in our farm shop and cafe? If you can spare a couple of hours, and you enjoy meeeting the public in a friendly community environment then we would love to hear from you.
Our Saturday cafe and farm shop is the heart of the weekend activity here at Lovebrook. We sell our own freshly harvested produce from the market garden. Plus delicious produce from other local suppliers including, bread, cakes, pastries, dairy, flowers, preserves, juice and more. Plus hot and cold drinks, and seasonal specials.
It's a lovely environment here on a Saturday, with the wood fired sauna running, plus yoga classes, guest speakers and activities, and people coming to walk on the farm and enjoy our kids nature club activities. The farm shop and cafe is set under a covered barn, so we are out in nature, but sheltered from the weather.
We are open every Saturday 10-3, and we are grateful for a 2-3 hour shift at some point during this time
