About Mission:HOME
Do you want to be a part of getting permanent, decent homes built for some of the 3,000 children and families suffering homelessness in Brighton and Hove? That’s what Mission:HOME is fighting for.
You could play a big role in this! Join our close-knit team of volunteers and help us convince the Council to free up some of it's small unused pieces land for council homes, giving families a real shot at a better life.
I’m Scarlett Chapman, 14, and I started this because it breaks my heart to see families stuck in often cramped, awful temporary accommodation - sometimes for up to 15 years. I’ve been busking in the local area since I was 8, raising over £10,000 for local homelessness charities and helping spread awareness through regular press, TV, and radio coverage.
Check out my video https://youtu.be/jXhxc-8D9TY to see how you can pitch in!
"One family told me about having to hoover mould off the wall in their tiny temporary accommodation" Let's act now! Scarlett x
