BHF London to Brighton Off-Road Bike Ride Event Volunteer- Saturday 4th September at British Heart Foundation

What does the opportunity involve doing?

We are really excited that our iconic London to Brighton is going off road for 2021! If you're free on Saturday 4 September, we have a variety of exciting volunteer roles to be part of at our incredible London to Brighton Off-Road Bike Ride event.

Get involved as over 2,500 BHF supporters take part in an exhilarating challenge along varied terrain at one of Europe's biggest charity mountain bike events on Saturday 4th September. In doing so, you’ll be helping our participants accomplish something incredible as they fundraise to support BHF research and the lives of those living with heart and circulatory diseases.

We are particularly looking for volunteers to help at the finish line at Hove Lawns as Finish site Assistants. Available shifts are: 12:00 – 16:00 and/or 15:00 – 19:00.

Tasks include:
• Assisting with setting up of the event finish site
• Directing participants around the site and answering any of their questions.
• Assist with the finish funnels, providing medals and water to our participants in a Covid safe manner
• Assist with the travel service – help participants with finding the coaches and queueing.

What induction, training and support is offered?

The BHF is committed to ensuring that volunteers have an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. We want to ensure our volunteers feel confident, safe and supported in their roles and will provide you with an induction pack with event specific procedures including COVID considerations.

What skills or qualities are needed?

No previous experience needed, just enthusiasm, a smile and a willingness to support our participants at the finish line
