Play Therapy uses a creative 'toolkit' of toys, music, art, sand, puppets and more, to help children express their feelings. As we play, the therapist's role is to create a safe space, connect and reflect with the child- this supports them to develop better insight of themselves, their thoughts and behaviours.
I offer a minimum of 10 sessions, and we will review as we go to get a feel of how many your child may need.
What next: I will send you a questionnaire which will determine if this is a suitable intervention for your child at this time. If so, I will arrange to speak with you and we can start sessions shortly after that.
Pricing: My fee per session is £40, which also covers reviews, reports and admin.
Location: Depending on the availability of rooms, we will either work at Brighton Youth Centre, or your child's own school.
