FareShare Futures will give you the opportunity to increase your understanding of working in the food industry whilst gaining volunteering experience and confidence. On a six week programme (two days a week) you will get personalised employment support, first-hand experience of volunteering, and functional skills workshops.
At FareShare we are not just passionate about reducing food waste, we're also all about empowering our volunteers. If you are looking to return to work, or looking for your next job opportunity, then join us on the FareShare Futures Programme. Over 12 days you will get the chance to meet prospective employers and get application and interview advice from them. You will also complete a Food Safety Level Two certification, and get help with presenting yourself, teamwork and negotiation.
Your time will be split between volunteering and attending workshops, so you will also get a chance to become part of the FareShare family of volunteers, #foodheroes who sort and deliver tonnes of surplus food to good causes every week!
