Reflective practice facilitator at Sussex Gender Service

Reflective practice groups provide space for staff members to reflect, observe, process and learn in relation to their experiences at work. They can provide a supportive and developmental space for people to explore and understand their interactions, clinical decision making, team dynamics and the emotional impact of work, amongst other things.

Experience & skills required:
- Experience running reflective practice groups
- Professional background in therapy/group work
- We would welcome someone with lived experience of being TNBI to apply

Renumeration: £120 per session, on a freelance basis, + travel expenses

We run 2 sessions per month, and are looking for 1 or 2 people to facilitate our groups, to start ASAP.

We run sessions during the following time slots, which are based in a meeting room in St Peter's Health Centre in central Brighton. We are looking for facilitators who can attend in-person. Please only apply if you are available during these times.

Usual time slots:
3rd Thursday of the month - 10:30 am - 12 noon
4th Tuesday of the month - 10:30 am - 12 noon

About our team:
We are administrators and operational managers, clinical nurse specialists, clinical & counselling psychologists, voice therapists, GP's, care navigators and engagement and development workers. We also regularly have volunteers, students and trainees working with the service. We have a variety of lived experience within the team.
