Grace Eyre supports 600+ people with learning disabilities and autism to achieve their dreams and wishes. We are a charity that currently works across Sussex and in some parts of London. We believe that as a charity we need to campaign with, work with and include people who use our services and their families and friends, especially in these challenging times.
What does the opportunity involve doing?
Grace Eyre is recruiting a trustee with lived experience to broaden skills and representation on our board. We are committed to having an inclusive and diverse Board and to be led by people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people so ensuring user-led activity at this level is paramount to our values.
Our Board advises so we can deliver projects and services in our community including Active Lives, Housing, Shared Lives, Choices, Events, Travel, Employment and Our Voices (Ambassadors).
Board meetings are held four times per year. Expenses are paid.
