Brighton Local Group treasurer at Rspb Brighton & District Local Group

RSPB Brighton & District Local Group was formed in 1974 and has over 100 members.

We have our main indoor meetings on the 4th Thursday in the month (except June, July and August). In December the meeting is during the 2nd week.

We have monthly daytrips by coach to reserves between September to November and January to May and ‘easy going’ mid-week walks in our local area (second Wednesday of the month, suggested donation of £1 for group members and £3 for non-group members).

The group’s aim is to run a comprehensive programme which encourages people to be members of the RSPB and raise money to help save nature in the southeast.

What does the opportunity involve doing?

This is a fantastic role to get involved locally and be at the forefront of solutions to help save nature in your community.
