Job description
Working in close partnership with the Co-Creative Directors (joint CEOs) as a vital interface between the creative and the operational aspects of the organisation, the Executive Director/Deputy CEO will oversee delivery of all aspects of Marlborough Productions's Business Plan advancing its mission and vision.
The Executive Director/Deputy CEO holds key responsibility for finance, fundraising, development, legal, management, HR and governance matters.
The Executive Director will directly report to the Board of Trustees and will provide them with the necessary information and resources to oversee the organisation's vision and mission and responsibilities to key stakeholders.
We are aware that applicants may not feel that they have experience in all areas of the role description or meet all of the features of the person specification. We are able to offer training and development opportunities to support the right candidate to grow into this role.
We are particularly keen to receive applications from people of colour, black people, trans and disabled applicants, in recognition of the fact that these groups are currently underrepresented in the sector, and can guarantee an interview for all those who demonstrate how they meet the 'essential' criteria.
Marlborough Productions aims to provide an anti-oppressive environment for people from all backgrounds and does not discriminate based on race, national or ethnic background, citizen status, sexual orientation, gender, age, religion, disability, social economic status, nor immigration status. We acknowledge definitions of expression and inclusion will evolve. We are committed to continually revisiting this statement of inclusion in collaboration with the communities that we serve.
