Amaze

A local charity offering advice, information and support to families with disabled children and young people in Sussex.

Amaze is the Special Educational Needs Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) for Brighton & Hove.

How Amaze can help:

-Amazing Futures groups and workshops for young people with additional needs.
-Looking Forward career support programme for young people with additional needs
-Compass Card (free leisure discount card for children and young people 0 to 25 with significant SEND), and free Carers' Card with wellbeing discounts and deals
-help with claiming DLA and PIP for children and young people with SEND up to 25 years old
-Face 2 Face Befriending support for families around the time of diagnosis or other challenges

Barnardo’s South Coast Supported Lodgings

Supported Lodgings - Helping young people reach their potential South Coast Supported Lodgings is a Barnardo's-run service that supports young people aged 16-21 who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless or leaving care. We work alongside the referring local authority to pair each young person with a suitable host...

. In addition, they have the support of a key worker to help them live more independently and achieve their full potential.

Are you a young person who would like a lodgings bedroom in a supportive and understanding home? please speak to your social worker or youth advice worker for more information about supported lodgings.

Are you someone who has a spare room and is interested in making a difference to a young person's life? please give us a call to find out more
