Volunteer Gardener Wanted – Brighthelm Garden at Brighthelm Community Centre

Brighthelm Community Centre and gardens is centrally located on North Road, a 3 min walk from Brighton Station. We have a professional auditorium and a range of meeting rooms for hire as well as providing office space for a wide variety of community groups.

🌿 Volunteer Gardener Wanted – Brighthelm Garden 🌿

Do you love gardening and want to make a real difference in your community?
We’re looking for a volunteer gardener to help care for our much-loved Brighthelm garden – a peaceful, welcoming space used every day by our tenants, visitors, and some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

💚 What you’ll be doing:

• Helping maintain and nurture the garden
• Supporting seasonal planting and light landscaping
• Keeping the space safe, tidy, and inviting

🌼 What we’re looking for:

• A passion for gardening (no formal experience needed)
• Someone reliable and happy to work independently
• A friendly person who enjoys being part of a community space
