Women’s Steps to Change Team

The WSCT focuses on supporting women in the early stages of the criminal justice system.

The team covers all the custody suites in Sussex and supports women living within Brighton and the surrounding areas.

Using a strengths-based approach we help women to identify opportunities for change that are available in their community. This approach is designed to help identify specific needs, while we support women in accessing the right services to improve their wellbeing.

By coaching our aim is to support women in reducing offending by actively linking them into supportive local community resources.
