Roaming Night Worker at Turning Tides

The Waking Night Teams are responsible for providing support and safeguarding our clients, including dealing with emergencies. There will be 1 – 2 Waking Night Workers based at each residential project and as a Roaming Night Worker you will be required to support this work by assisting when our colleagues are in need of support or covering when they are absent. You will also have responsibility for maintaining a full and accurate log of events and reporting on incidents and any maintenance issue

There will be occasions where you will be required to lone work on site, especially when emergency cover is required at a service at short notice. As such you will have the adaptability and confidence to move between residential services to meet the needs of the organisation. Due to working across various locations, a full, clean driving license is required.

You will have good communication skills and an awareness of the issues that affect homeless individuals. You will be passionate about working for a charity that is striving to end local homelessness.
