Development Manager at Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival

Part time - 3 days per week Flexible working / hybrid working available Between £27,000-31,300 per annum, pro rata This new role is an opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join our friendly and successful Development Team as a Development Manager focussing on individual giving and grant fundraising, including prospect research, cultivation and stewarding of new and diverse mid- and high-level donor relationships.

Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival is a registered charity, entering an exciting year with the expected completion of the refurbishment of the Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre venues. From the annual Brighton Festival in May, a year-round programme of live events by world renowned artists and performers at Brighton Dome, to inspiring the next generation of musicians with our education service - we reach wide and diverse communities across Brighton & Hove and the region.

We believe in the power of the arts to change lives and you’ll play a vital role in developing relationships with supporters who help us make it all happen.

You’ll ideally have experience in developing fundraising strategies in the arts / charity sector, cultivating and stewarding a wide range of supporter relationships, prospect research, writing proposals, managing campaign budgets as well as relevant marketing and communications. The role requires your willingness to learn and adapt on the job in a busy working environment.

If you feel passionate about arts and creativity and if you care for the community, we would love to hear from you.
