RISE is an independent, Brighton-based registered charity that helps people affected by domestic abuse. We offer practical help ranging from direct advice to refuge accommodation for those whose lives are at risk.
What does the opportunity involve doing?
RISE is looking for volunteers to join the team, with a range of roles available including marshalling on the run route, helping on the water station giving out water, or on the Finish Line giving out medals, goody bags to every runner that crosses the Finish Line, there are also roles to suppport in the Race HQ/Event Village.
What induction, training and support is offered?
Briefing notes will be sent to all volunteers prior to the event day, and a briefing in person will also be given to all volunteers on the day.
What skills or qualities are needed?
No skills or experience is necessary, all roles are straightforward. Volunteers must be 17 years or over.
