Womens Wellbeing in Nature Course - starts July 19th - 11am-2pm
Would you like to spend some time each week reconnecting with yourself and nature? Take some time out to slow down, breathe fresh air, listen to the birds and focus on your wellbeing. Join us for a new 8 week course at Lovebrook, offering gentle wellbeing practices, community connection and personal reflection, all in a beautiful natural setting here in the South Downs countryside. We would love to see you here...
Who is it suitable for?
These sessions are for women only, who feel they would benefit from some space and time to focus on their own emotional and physical wellbeing. They are particularly aimed at women who may have experienced challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, social isolation or chronic illness. It is a compassionate and held space, where participants will be invited to participate in as much or as little as they feel comfortable with on any particular day. Participants will need to have enough physical mobility to move around in a countryside environment, and feel comfortable being in the open air for the majority of the session.
What will we do?
Each week will have a different theme but follow a similar structure. We will generally enjoy some circle time around the fire, sharing tea and checking in. There may be some gentle mindfullness, breathwork, or movement practices. We will enjoy gentle connection with the land, engaging with nature through planting, harvesting, plant identification, foraging, creative activities etc. We may take a nature walk, building connection with the seasonal world around us, and we will share a lunch together. The sessions are encouraged to be co-creative, and we aim to bring in the participants skills, interests and suggestions wherever possible.
