What does the opportunity involve doing?

We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about wanting to help local families and can help deliver our parcels to local hubs and families using their own car.

Our warehouse hours are from Monday to Thursday, 10am till 2pm and deliveries need to take place during these hours. We ask for a minimum of 2 hours commitment per week.

What induction, training and support is offered?

Our address is Units 1 & 2, Manor Industrial Estate, Newtown Road, Hove, BN3 7BA.

You will need your own car and we will ask that you check with your insurer you are covered for volunteer activities, this is normally part of a standard insurance.

We will ask you to complete a DBS check prior to getting started. We will cover the costs.

We will ask you to complete a couple of online trainings relevant to your role.

Our hours are 10am till 2pm from Monday to Thursday. We ask that volunteers give at least 2 hours a week during these hours.

What skills or qualities are needed?

Positive can-do attitude.
Appreciation and respect of the confidential nature of information that may be acquired.
A reasonably good level of fitness, you will be lifting heavy items such as bags and cots in and out of the car.
Ability to listen to and follow instructions.
Passionate about helping local families experiencing financial hardship.
