PACT is well established independent voluntary adoption agency with an office in the heart of Brighton. We work to find forever families to adopt and provide loving and permanent homes for children currently in care.
What does the opportunity involve doing?
PACT organise monthly adoption information events in Brighton for prospective adopters to find out about adoption, PACT and to hear from one of our adopters.
We are looking for events volunteers to help with these events. Depending on the amount of time available you could help the team by printing information packs and preparing resources for the event beforehand. On the day of the event you would be setting up the room, preparing refreshments, welcoming attendees and helping to put them at their ease, supporting the staff team to help make the event as warm, professional and smooth as possible, and then tidy away at the end.
What induction, training and support is offered?
There is an induction and training is informal by staff.
