County Manager at IAPWA

IAPWA was founded in 2009 to provide protection and improve the welfare of animals in need. Today we are an international animal welfare charity, driven to provide a lifeline for animals around the world. Through our projects and partnerships, we’re committed to creating a long-term change for a better future for animals.

Our work is vast and includes providing veterinary teams to local sanctuaries, educating children about the importance of animal welfare, working with authorities to develop humane neutering programmes and finding forever homes through our Adoption Programme.

We provide care to thousands of animals worldwide every year and rely on the support of generous animal lovers like you to help us.

What does the opportunity involve doing?

Role Type: Volunteer
Hours: Flexible | 3 hours per week
Reports to: Fundraising Coordinator

As a County Manager for IAPWA, you will recruit, manage and support a dedicated team of fundraising volunteers within your county. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people and is looking to give back to the community. Someone who can not only create a varied team but offer them support and guidance throughout their journey. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge in either recruitment or management/leadership roles and a passion for animal welfare.

This role will include:

Recruitment: Working with IAPWA’s Fundraising Coordinator to recruit Community Leaders with the aim to grow a team across a range of demographics in your county.

Support: Fully supporting these individuals throughout their fundraising and recruitment journey with IAPWA (working to monthly fundraising targets). Participating in your teams Facebook and WhatsApp groups weekly and organising monthly Zoom calls.

Reporting: Monthly completion of a short report form which will include how much your teams have raised and the number of new recruits within your county.

With you at the helm our goal is to create a dedicated and passionate community coming together to help us change the lives of the animals who need us.

What induction, training and support is offered?

You will have continuous support and monthly 1-1 Zoom calls with IAPWA’s Fundraising Coordinator who will provide you with everything you need to get started. There will also be the chance to join induction Zoom calls, recruitment guidance and a chance to meet and speak to IAPWA’s founder and CEO.
