Below is some information on courses , events and news which we hope will be of use.

Parenting:

  • Mothering in the time of Corona: Mothers Uncovered are offering two FREE online discussion groups via Zoom. A space to explore your life as a mother in a supportive peer-led groupEVENING: July 1, 8, 15, 22 : 8.00pm – 9.30pm – 4 sessionsDAYTIME: June 22, 29, July 6, 13, 20 : 2.00 – 3.30pm – 5 sessions (Depending on who signs up, we may offer these as standalone sessions, or as the same participants for all 5 weeks).

    The groups will be limited to 6 participants and will include facilitated discussion and writing and mindfulness exercises.

    Open to all mothers of any age children. You can be based anywhere!

Wellbeing:

  • Free Guided Relaxation Classes online with Brighton Natural Health Centre – Weekly on Monday from 8 Jun to 26 Oct. Free guided relaxation sessions. Classes are open to all, suitable for complete beginners and are for anyone who wishes to pause, relax and re-connect. Follow link to register and join here.

    Online booking closes 30 minutes before the class start time. The link to the online class will be sent 10-15 minutes before the class start. Make sure to check your junk mail and email us at least 10 minutes before class if you have not received the link.

  • Some Gardens and National Trust Gardens are reopening, with timed entry and social distancing measures in place. For most of these garden prebooking is essential. Please see following website for more info: National Trust , Borde Hill , and Sussex Prairie Gardens .

Refugee Week

  • Refugee Radio are hosting an online concert for Refugee Week on Thursday 18th June at 7.30pm with  Best Foot Music. We will have some great music, all recorded in people’s back gardens over the past few days.
