Trauma Informed Peer Support Facilitator at Veritas Justice CIC

Stalking has increased during lockdown continues to do so as restrictions are lifted, as a result we have seen an increase in the demand for our services and expect that demand to continue growing over the next few months at least.

We are recruiting for a trauma informed Peer Support Groups Facilitator to be available as soon as possible to join our recovery and well-being team over the following months to help us respond to this growing demand. If you are passionate about supporting survivors of stalking to cope and recover from anxiety, depression, social/emotional difficulties related to trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder and loss through peer support, you have the relevant experience and are available to deliver sessions then we would love to hear from you.

We are looking to deliver fortnightly group sessions the work will be developed and delivered remotely online, however this will be under review as we adapt and respond to the changing landscape.

This post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Veritas Justice is committed to following Equality and Diversity and safer recruitment practices.

On appointment eligible practitioners will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and supply us with references.

We positively encourage applications from the Black and ethnic minority communities as they are currently under-represented in our organisation.
