The successful candidate will be based in a 24/7 supported living service, and will be required to work shifts including daytime, evenings, sleep-ins and some weekends (on a rota basis). Once you are comfortable in the service, you will be expected to be lone working at sometimes during the week.
We welcome applicants with experience in similar roles, although experience is not everything: if you are the right person, are caring, committed and enthusiastic, we will provide all the training and development you need to become an excellent support worker. We would like to hear from experienced support workers as well as those who want to gain experience and training with an established charity in a rewarding and ever-changing sector.
This position is to support 4 Jewish adults with learning disabilities. The tenants adhere to Kosher guidelines in the kitchen. The successful candidate will be expected to support the tenants in following Kosher guidelines, as well as adhering to the guidelines themselves, whilst in the house. Training will be provided to support the tenants in this regard.
