Participant Support Manager – Work Health Programme at SCDA

Working across East Sussex though mindful of current restrictions, the role is based in Eastbourne and Hastings (current work pattern requirement is 4 days in Eastbourne and 1 in Hastings) – job sharing would be considered.

This is a great opportunity for an organised and passionate individual to support people who face complex barriers to move into sustainable employment. Your role will involve assessing participants’ support and development needs, and working with them to find employment. Building rapport with these participants, you will source job opportunities and maintain supportive relationships, whilst running regular group sessions and liaising regularly with health professionals, partner organisations and employers.

This role is perfect for someone who has proven experience of supporting a wide range of people into sustainable employment.

You will have a strong track record of successfully working towards targets and experience of managing and progressing a caseload of participants. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be second-to-none, and you will be flexible and proactive in your approach to work.

The post is subject to a DBS check. The role is based in one of the locations detailed above with regular travel to partner and outreach locations across the East Sussex community, subject to the relevant restrictions at the time.
