The role will be varied and involve managing a busy caseload and include liaison work with employers and other external partners so experience and a commitment to partnership working is required.
You will require an understanding of employment issues and the barriers people may face in the workplace. Skills in providing advice and information and a track record of successfully engaging and working with people experiencing mental health issues is essential.
The Employment Advice Service is part of a national initiative NHS England to provide access to employment support within IAPT Services. The service provides employment support for people accessing treatment via the Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service. The Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service www.brightonandhovewellbeing.org is a primary care mental health service for people of all ages in the city experiencing common mental health issues.
