Community Friendship Project Worker (GE202010) at The Grace Eyre Foundation

A role is available at Grace Eyre for a person to support people with learning disabilities to take part in social activities and create mutual friendships with other people they may meet through the project. The project runs activities for small groups to meet up throughout the year and you will need to attend these to support others to learn to organise their own events in their community.

You will work with the Community Friendship Coordinator to create a calendar of activities, monitor the project and support friendship activities.

The role works flexibly across the week as well as weekends and evenings as needed to support activities and is suitable for a person with a learning disability.
