37.5 Hours per week (work and college)
£8,095 per annum
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is hungry to learn about painting and decorating. You will join our successful team of painters already working for the organisation.
YMCA Downslink Group provides support and housing for vulnerable young people, you will be working with the team to improve our own properties and carry out work in a commercial setting. The candidate will typically spend 1 day a week at college.

The candidate should have good organisational skills and be motivated, reliable, hard-working and adaptable. The candidate will need to have good literacy and numeracy skills and be able to use their own initiative and work as part of a team. The candidate will need to work in an ethical and emphatic way and have a professional attitude.
We require no previous qualifications but would like a willingness to learn with a can-do attitude. This is a training position and the candidate will be given the opportunity to develop new skills. This will enable the candidate to develop a wide range of transferable skills and will give them experience across a variety of essential housing management functions.
